We are continuing our farming journey on 50 mixed acres in the North East Georgia rolling hills. We want our children to know where all of their food comes from and we are on the path to eat meat solely that we grew or knew. We believe in nurturing our land and livestock so that they nurture us back.

In order to ensure this land is prosperous for our future generations, we study and practice regenerative agriculture. By listening to both the wisdom of the past and the innovations of the future we hope that this land will support itself with minimal inputs. Nature knows best and we are listening.

Preserving heritage breeds is an important part of our work! We believe these breeds are worth keeping alive! Most of our animals are on the threatened or critical list. Though they often grow slow, they prove themselves to be superior for the small family farm. Heritage chickens lay longer and make better mothers. Heritage pigs are easier on pastures and their meat is more flavorful. Heritage goats are more hardy and efficient.
