The meishan is the perfect pig for the small homestead or growing farm. They are easy on pastures and fences and have superior immunities. They are extremely docile and easily trained. The sows make wonderful mothers and are very prolific with litter sizes averaging 13 piglets. As an Artisianal lard pig, the meat is dark and highly marbled which makes for tender and juicy pork like none other! Me
Ming Yue meaning "Bright Moon" was sadly lost this year due to a twisted gut. We are absolutely devastated to lose this gorgeous girl but happy to have kept her daughter Mu Guang!
Our gorgeous boar, Imperial Zhao Yang. His name means Morning Sun and we are expecting wonderful things from this beautiful boy. He has heavy USDA lineage and is docile, gentle, and friendly.
